    Course Summary

    To me, ENVS 295 is about bridging the gap between people when it comes to environmental issues, and engaging with one another. This is accomplished through our website which communicates with everyone outside the course and with our partnerships with local organizations. In this course (ENVS 295), I have developed better digital scholarship skills and initiated a partnership with the Hood River Forrest Collaborative. I have also learned about contested environmental issues, and environmental advocacy, in the state of Oregon. Most importantly, I learned about effective environmental communication and engagement.
